V2R Projects

 Experienced in high compliance construction

Established in 2014, V2R Projects is a highly experienced and specialised team dedicated to delivering high-quality design,
construction and project management services. We focus on technically challenging projects in operational and high compliance environments throughout Queensland.

V2R Projects is a Queensland-based company. With offices in Capalaba, Mackay and Townsville, we are able to service the
entire State including regional and remote areas.

Our core business is based on the principles of Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), Design & Construct Engagement and Continuous Improvement. We believe that early engagement with our clients and design team adds significant value to any project and promotes a positive business culture.

We spend the time to listen to our customers so we can understand their business. By better understanding their business, we can provide solutions that add genuine value outcomes for the end user.

Our Executive Team

Our executive team has worked together extensively for over 20 years and lead a cohesive group of over 52 employees including estimators, project and site managers, contract administrators and tradespeople. The relationships we foster with customers, consultant and subcontractors has significantly contributed to our success.

Do what we say

We listen to what is being asked and explain what we will do in clear and plain language. Projects are not about ego or bamboozling you with waffle and jargon. Our aim is to be prepared, know our facts, be fair and reasonable, and deliver what we’ve promised.
(Waffle – Verbal diarrhoea generated when ones’ ego takes over.)

Share knowledge and experience

We are engaged to manage project risk. Sharing our knowledge and experience helps reduce that risk. Don’t deliberately watch someone fail or struggle if you can help – you never know when it is our turn to receive a good deed. Always ask if you can be of assistance rather than tell them what to do.

Don't assume – Challenge 'sacred cows'

We don’t rely on hearsay, or accept something because it has ‘always been done that way’. We pride ourselves on being curious and innovative. We’re always looking for the best option for the project. Because when you think outside the box, great things happen.

Acknowledge our mistakes

Blatant disregard for the rules is not acceptable at any time. But human errors sometimes happen. We put our hand up when we make a mistake. How we respond to and fix mistakes is the measure of who we are. We also take the time to understand what went wrong, so we can learn from the experience. We share this knowledge, so everyone can benefit and the mistake is not repeated.

Our commitment to community

Veterans employment

V2R Projects is a proud supporter of Veterans Employment. We continue to have a company-wide focus on raising awareness of the skills, values and experience veterans bring to the workplace.

To demonstrate this, we have signed the Prime Minister’s National Veterans’ Employment Program Commitment. ADF members leaving the military have an extensive range of skills, experience and qualifications that make them valuable members of the civilian workforce.

As an SME employing veterans, we are reaping significant benefits from these highly trained, organised, resilient leaders.

Indigenous engagement

In 2022, V2R Projects has employed 22 Indigenous employees which amounted to approximately 9% of the total hours worked on V2R Projects sites.

V2R Projects also sponsored the Warba Wangarunya Rugby League Carnival run by the Darumbal Community in Central Queensland. In addition, V2R Projects sponsored the player of the series award for the carnival.
